  • How Much Does a Tattoo Cost?
All tattoos start at $100. The final price is dependent on size, detail of the design and location on the body where it will be placed. And, of course, it depends on the artist. All artists have a minimum billing, which varies and depends on an experience and personal skills.
  • What Do I Need to Provide for My Tattoo Inquiry?
    1) Description of Your Tattoo Idea:
Include details about the design you have in mind. It could be a reference to flash art, a custom concept, or something unique and unconventional.

    2) Preferred Placement:
Specify the location on your body where you envision the tattoo. Feel free to include a photo of the intended spot to assist in the planning process.

    3) Color or Black and Grey Preference:
Indicate whether you prefer a colorful tattoo or a black and grey design.

    4) Preferred Appointment Days and Times:
Let us know any specific days or times during my working hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am - 6 pm) that are convenient for you.

    5) Health Considerations:
Inform us about any allergies, health concerns, or relevant details that may impact the tattooing process. Your well-being is our priority, and knowing these details ensures a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Tattoo Preparation
Stay calm, trust your artist, and avoid partying the night before, as alcohol increases bleeding and affects pigments. Eat well, get enough sleep, and take a shower before your appointment.
  • Safety Measures
At "ASTRO INK," your health is our priority. We use new needles for each client, follow strict procedures to prevent cross-contamination, and provide individually wrapped instruments. Each client gets their own ink pot, and all used items are disposed of. We use nitrile gloves for tattooing and latex for cleaning and sterilizing.
  • Does Getting a Tattoo Hurt?
The pain of getting a tattoo varies among individuals and locations. Sensitive areas like armpits, groin, head, feet, chest, and ribs can be more painful. Pain is subjective, but rest assured, you'll feel it to some extent.
  • Coverups and Reworks
Yes, we do coverups, but they'll be larger than the original tattoo. Dark, raised scar tattoos are challenging. Covering may require multiple sessions, and laser treatments might be necessary. Results may still show portions of the original tattoo.
  • Tattoo Aftercare
Initial healing takes 7-10 days, with the tattoo settling in 3-4 weeks. Full recovery, including skin and hair regrowth, may take up to 2 months. After leaving the studio, remove the bandage in 2-3 hours. Gently wash the tattoo twice daily with antibacterial soap and apply a thin layer of Aquatat ointment. Avoid picking, scratching, or exposing the tattoo to pets, swimming, sunbathing, fake tan, tight clothes, and rough fabrics for two weeks.
